Tom Putnam came to me late in 2003 when he began his music and drum instructor career and needed an identity to reflect both the business and his enthusiastic personality. Since most of his clientele are young students Tom didn't want an imposing or overly corporate design, his lessons are designed to be fun and his identity needed to reflect this. The final design is playful with rhythmic use of musical notation and a strong cyan background reflecting Toms personality and teaching style. In more recent Tom's identity has been applied to his text book 'From The Beginning' and his website.
